Ostrich

OstrichesOstriches are the largest living bird, standing nine feet tall and weighing up to 350 pounds. Males are black with white feathers on the wings and tail while females are grayish-brown. As you can imagine, ostriches lay large eggs - each weighing three pounds! Ostriches can live to be 50 to 70 years old.
