Educational Loan Program – The museum has a large, unique collection of authentic animal artifacts to supplement everyday teaching, Scout programs, and even library and community events!  Items such as audiovisual materials, skulls, horns, antlers, and fur are available to help bring hands-on activities to your students.  Several items can be borrowed at once for up to three weeks!  Curriculum guides and suggestions for classroom activities are also available through our Lending Library.  Please call 629-0100 ext 311 for more information.

Wildlife Classroom Activities.

A unique collection of activities and exercises for teaching students about vertebrates.  Includes 45 different activities, each divided into sections outlining objectives, background information, procedures, discussion points, closure and suggestions for further study.  Activities have been extensively field-tested and fine-tuned into an exemplary set of activities for introducing students to the diverse world of vertebrates.  Five activities for each grade level (K-8). $16.95, includes shipping and handling
 

Animal Skulls, A Guide for Teachers, Naturalists and Interpreters.

Features a series of 13 teaching units designed for use with International Wildlife Museum materials but easily adapted to any anatomy lesson for students ages 15-adult.  The skull replicas we offer will work fine with these units or you can use locally obtained material.  Book discusses skull anatomy, teeth, diet, aging of bone, and reptile, bird and mammal skull types.  Includes detailed glossary and reference section. $19.95, includes shipping and handling
