Coleman Moth Collection
Back to Category List
James C. Coleman caught the 960 specimens in this collection between 1982 and 1988 in various locations in the Southwest, including New Mexico, California, Arizona and Texas. 95% of the specimens were identified as to genus and species, and have locality and date of collection information, making this a valuable research collection. The collection was donated in July of 2006 by Mr. James S. Coleman, the collector's son.
